Orlando and Michelle

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about us. We realize this is possibly the most difficult decision you will ever make and we admire your courage, love and selflessness. We hope you find peace in whatever decisions you make. Thank you for considering us as loving parents for your child.

We have been together since 2010 and married since 2013. We have both had a lifelong desire to be parents. Orlando loves being around children and has helped raise several of his nieces and nephews. Many of them are grown now and they still consider him their favorite uncle. They all still call him “Uncle Nanu” which is what they called him when they were little. Michelle has always been the “mother hen” with her four siblings and over twenty cousins. She is very compassionate and empathetic and loves being around children of all ages. She has always longed to be a mother and cannot wait to have a child to love unconditionally.

We both come from very large families and we are all very close! Many of our weekends are spent having fun with our siblings. Whether we are having one of our legendary craft days or having a chili cook-off, we just love being together. Family is the heart of our relationship and we cannot wait to share our traditions with our little one if we are blessed with a child through adoption.

Orlando is very artistic and loves to work with his hands. In his spare time he does digital drawing, creates custom guitars and custom action figures. He has even created a shelf made from a guitar that holds pictures and favorite memories of our relationship!

Michelle also loves creating things and is pretty crafty! She really enjoyssewing, quilting, baking and reading. She is a true bookworm and hopes to be able to read bedtime stories to a little one someday. Outside of the house, Michelle loves to go for walks to enjoy nature and at least once a year, she meets up with her family and friends at the zoo!

During our marriage we have experienced several unexplained miscarriages. After 2 years of back to back miscarriages, we found that we were unable to get pregnant anymore. We went through extensive testing and specialists, but an explanation was never found. We so badly want to be parents and our losses and struggles were extremely difficult. However, we have bonded and grown so close due to our grief that we truly believe we could survive anything.

Although our infertility was a struggle to deal with, we now believe adoption is what we were meant for. We discussed our thoughts with our family and friends and we have felt a strong pull in our hearts that this is the way we were meant to become parents. We have so much love to give, and we are so excited and humbled to be looking to adopt and become first time parents!

Thank you again for taking the time to get a little glimpse of our lives. If you would like to learn more about us, please take a look at our profile. We hope you can see our deep love for each other and our strong desire to be parents. Our hearts are overflowing with love, and we pray that we are fortunate enough to share that love with a child we are blessed with through adoption. We hope you are comforted in this difficult decision and you will have peace. Thank you again for considering us as loving parents for your baby.

With love and thanks,

Michelle and Orlando
