Ben and Jessica

First of all, thank you.  We believe that it is the greatest act of courage, selflessness, and love to choose adoption.  Your bravery will allow someone, hopefully us, to be parents one day – or to grow their family.  It’s one of the greatest gifts you can give.

We feel remarkably blessed already.  Our family has been blessed by adoption once already when we welcomed our daughter, Emery, in to the world in May of 2015.  With little notice, our lives changed forever, in the best way possible.  We became parents to the happiest child you will ever meet.  The day she was born – and the day that we got the call that we had been matched was a day we weren’t ever sure was going to come.

We tried for a long time to have kids.  As we were in the process of trying to conceive, I was diagnosed with endometriosis – which makes it very difficult to get pregnant.  I had several surgeries to repair the damage of the disease and our doctor recommended that we try fertility treatments.  After a failed IVF attempt, the fertility doctor plainly said to us, “If you want to be parents, you probably should start thinking about adoption.”.  It was a no-brainer for us.  We wanted a family.  We didn’t care how.

We now have a beautiful daughter, but still long for a big family filled with kids, laughter, adventure, and lots and lots of love.  We’re hoping adoption will bless our family again and that we will get the chance to love another child – and Emery will get the chance to be a big sister.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us.  We can promise, that if chosen, your child will grow up knowing about the brave choice that you made – and how it is the greatest act of love a person can demonstrate.  They will grow up in a home full of laughter, adventure, music, and learning.  They will learn compassion, faith, hope and the greatest of these – love.
