Andrew and Jesica

We are the Fox family – Andrew, Jesica, and Calvin. Thank you so much reading this letter and taking the time to get to know a little about us. Even though we don’t know you yet, you are constantly in our prayers. We admire the courage it takes to make an adoption plan for your child. Adoption has already touched us in many ways. The major way was through the adoption of our son, Calvin. We made a plan to stay in contact with his birth mom and we do so to this day. Andrew and I also both have family members who were adopted as children, I guess you could say we have hearts for adoption.

About Andrew

Andrew is a teacher, who currently teaches fourth grade. He loves learning and shares this love with his students. He especially enjoys teaching science and loves to share tidbits of science knowledge with our son, too. Outside of school, Andrew enjoys keeping active. He runs the Mini Marathon every year and even managed to talk me into walking it a number of times. He also enjoys baking and has passed that love on to Calvin. It’s not unusual to find them making some yummy chocolate chip cookies or banana bread.

About Jesica

Jesica is also a teacher. She currently teaches third grade. She loves finding great new lessons to use in her classroom. She can often be found pinning great teaching strategies on Pinterest. Outside of school, Jesica really enjoys reading and is always in the middle of a book. She has passed this on to Calvin and they can be found reading together every night before bed. Jesica also enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves to meet up with friends for walks, dinners, or just chatting.

About Calvin

Calvin is always on the go. He loves visiting the many local parks, splash pads, and playgrounds. He also enjoys swimming in the neighborhood pool. Our family has memberships to the zoo, children’s museum, and Conner Prairie and Calvin loves nothing more than a day spent at any of those places. Calvin gets along well with babies and younger children at daycare and we know he will be a wonderful older brother.

Our Home

We live in a spacious three bedroom home in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Small playgrounds are located throughout the community. We also have a neighborhood pool that we use frequently in the summer months. We live in a great school district and the neighborhood is full of families with children. We sometimes like to just play in the yard with neighbors in the evenings.
